All claims for payment to a person or entity by the Borough of Northvale
shall be submitted to the Borough Clerk who shall then cause the appropriate
head and Council members to verify that the services or goods have been performed
or supplied, as the case may be.
All claims shall be approved or disapproved by a majority vote of the
governing body of the Borough of Northvale at a regular meeting or any special
meeting held in accordance with the provisions of the Open Public Meetings
Act.

filed with the Borough Clerk in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A.
59:8-7 and within the time prescribed by N.J.S.A. 59:8-8. The claim itself
shall be on a form provided by the borough and in accordance with any rules
and regulations issued by the Attorney General of New Jersey and shall contain
all the information required by Subdivision a through f in N.J.S.A. 59:8-4
and, in addition thereto, shall require the additional items set forth in
N.J.S.A. 59:8-6.
