The number of licenses to sell alcoholic beverages at retail in the Borough of Teterboro which may be issued and outstanding at any one time be and the same is hereby fixed for each classification of license as follows:
A. 
Plenary retail consumption license: three.

The annual fee for each of said licenses shall be as follows:
A. 
Plenary retail consumption license: $250.

A. 
No licensee shall sell, serve, deliver, or allow, permit, or cause the sale or delivery of any alcoholic beverage at retail in its original container for consumption off the licensed premises or allow, permit or cause the removal of any alcoholic beverage in its original container from retail licensed premises on Sunday before 9:00 a.m. or after 7:00 p.m. and on any other day of the week before 9:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m. Whenever, however, December 24 or December 31 falls on a Sunday, a licensee shall be permitted to sell or deliver any alcoholic beverage at retail in its original container for consumption off the licensed premises and shall be permitted to allow the removal of any alcoholic beverage in its original container from the retail licensed premises between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

B. 
The hours referred to above indicate Eastern standard time, Eastern daylight saving time or Eastern war time, whenever said times are respectively in effect in the municipality.

All ordinance or parts of ordinance inconsistent or in conflict with this chapter are hereby repealed as to said inconsistencies and conflicts.

Each section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase of this chapter is declared to be an independent section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase and the finding or holding of any such portion of this chapter to be unconstitutional, void, or ineffective for any cause or reason, shall not affect any other portion of this chapter.

This chapter shall take effect immediately upon passage and publication as required by law.
