Any violation of this chapter or any part thereof
shall be punishable by a fine of not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment
for up to six months, or both, for third or subsequent offenses committed
within a period of five years.

Wherever the Trustees of the Village are satisfied
that any new building is being erected or used or any building is
being altered, enlarged, extended, reconstructed, raised, moved, used
or changed in its use or any land or premises is being used or changed
in its use in violation of the provisions of this chapter, they may,
through the Village Attorney, institute any appropriate action or
proceeding at law or in equity to restrain, correct, abate or remove
such violations and to prevent the occupancy of any such buildings
or land or to prevent any illegal act, conduct business or use on
or about said premises.
