[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Council of the Municipality of Kingston 6-6-1994 as Ord. No. 1994-7. (This ordinance repealed former Ch. 133, Plumbing, adopted 7-9-1990 as Ord. No. 1990-19.) Amendments noted where applicable.]
A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the Municipality of Kingston, being marked and designated as "The BOCA National Plumbing Code, Ninth Edition, 1993," as published by The Building Officials and Code Administrator International, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Plumbing Code of the Municipality of Kingston, Pennsylvania, for the control of buildings and structures as hereby provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said BOCA National Plumbing Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 133-3 of this chapter.
Ordinance No. 1990-19 of the Municipality of Kingston, entitled "The BOCA National Plumbing Code, Eighth Edition, 1990," and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
The following sections are hereby revised as follows:
Section P-101.1 (Page 1, second line). Insert: Municipality of Kingston.
Section P-113.2 (Page 4, third line). Insert: Where the total valuation of the construction work is:
Section P-116.4 (Page 5, seventh, eighth and ninth lines). Insert: three hundred dollars ($300.), thirty (30) days.
Section P-117.2 (Page 5, fifth and sixth lines). Insert: twenty-five dollars ($25.), three hundred dollars ($300).
Section P-304.3 (Page 13, third line). Insert: thirty (30) feet.
Section P-309.4 (Page 14, second and third lines). Insert: four (4) feet, forty-eighty (48) inches.
Section P-309.5 (Page 14, second and fourth lines). Insert: thirty-six (36) inches to forty-eight (48) inches.
Nothing in this chapter or in the Plumbing Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding impending in any court, or any rights acquired, or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing, under any act or ordinance hereby repealed as cited in § 133-2 of this chapter, nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character be lost, impaired or affected by this chapter.
