A. 
The owner and occupant of each and every house, building or lot fronting on any street or alley in the Village shall erect barriers or safeguards along the line of such street or alley at all dangerous points thereon.
B. 
The Board of Trustees may designate locations where such barriers or safeguards are to be constructed.
C. 
Upon default or failure to comply with the provisions of this section, the Board of Trustees shall cause such barriers or safeguards to be erected and shall assess the cost of such construction against the premises in question as provided by law; provided, however, that such assessment shall not exceed $20 for any one such barrier or safeguard.
D. 
In addition to the above assessment, there shall be a penalty of not to exceed $250 for each violation of the provisions of this section, and each day that such dangerous point shall exist without such barriers or safeguards after written notice and demand served by the Board of Trustees or Mayor shall constitute a separate violation hereof.
A. 
All fences, open or closed, walls, barricades or similar structures more than four feet in height must have an application submitted for a permit from the Village Board of Trustees.
B. 
No barbed wire fences shall be erected or maintained within the limits of the Village.
C. 
All fences, walls, barricades or similar structures shall be properly erected, supported and braced with the finished side facing out.
D. 
There shall be a penalty not to exceed $250 for each violation of the provisions of this section, and each day that the illegal condition shall exist shall constitute a separate violation.
