Pursuant to the dictates of the Pennsylvania Borough Code at Sections 1001 and 1006 (codified at 53 P.S. §§ 46001 and 46006), the Council for the Borough of Aldan hereby passes or otherwise enacts this article setting forth the compensation for members of the Borough Council and the Mayor.
A. 
Commencing in 1992, each member of the Aldan Borough Council and the Mayor shall be compensated for his or her services at the sum of $1,200 per year, payable in increments of $100 per month.
B. 
Any Council member or Mayor who is chosen to fill a vacancy in the middle of a term shall be compensated at the aforementioned rate beginning with the first full month of service.
