The Council hereby generally adopts the provisions of the Local Taxpayers Bill of Rights which is on file at the Borough Office and is incorporated herein by reference, hereby mandates that it shall appoint a Hearing Officer at each organizational meeting hereafter who shall take all appropriate action to be in compliance with the provisions of the Local Taxpayers Bill of Rights when carrying out his duties as Tax Collector for the Borough of Westmont.

The Council of the Borough of Westmont does hereby adopt the Form of Disclosure Statement of the Local Taxpayers Bill of Rights which is on file at the Borough Office and incorporated herein by reference, as amended from time to time in order to be in compliance with applicable law, providing an explanation of taxpayer rights and the obligations of the Borough of Westmont.
The Council of the Borough of Westmont hereby adopts and establishes the Act 50 Administrative Appeals Procedures, which are on file at the Borough Office and which are incorporated herein by reference, as amended from time to be in compliance with applicable law, providing for the right of taxpayers to receive determinations of petitions pertaining to the assessment, determination or refund of eligible taxes.
The Council of the Borough of Westmont hereby appoints and designates its Hearing Officer to adjucate all taxpayer petitions pertaining to the assessment, determination or refund of eligible taxes.
The Council of the Borough of Westmont hereby appoints and designates its Hearing Officer as the Taxpayer Rights Coordinator to act as a liaison between the taxpayer and the local taxing authority in any and all disputes with regard to any complaints.
