No vehicle shall be parked, left standing or otherwise permitted to remain on any street, road or highway in the Town of Stanford between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. during the months of November of each year through March of the following year. This provision shall not apply to the parking of any ambulance or to a vehicle operated by a physician while on a professional call.
Any vehicle parked on a public street, road or highway in violation of the provisions set forth in § 158-1 shall be subject to removal from said roadway by the Town Highway Superintendent or any person designated by him, and upon the removal thereof, the owner of said vehicle shall be responsible for the reasonable cost of said removal and storage. The Town Highway Superintendent shall direct the removal when he deems removal necessary to clear said street, road or highway of snow, ice or other natural conditions.
The owner of a vehicle left upon any street, road or highway in contravention of the provisions of § 158-1 shall be subject, in addition to those costs set forth in § 158-2, to a fine not to exceed $10 upon conviction for any offense against this chapter. An "owner of a vehicle" shall be deemed to be that person to whom a Department of Motor Vehicle registration was last issued.

The Highway Superintendent of the Town of Stanford, in addition to any other person authorized by law, may issue appearance tickets for violations of this chapter. A violation of this chapter shall be deemed a traffic infraction and shall be subject to the provisions of § 1800(c) of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
