Every employee of the Town of Stockport, as the term "employee"
is defined in § 18 of the New York Public Officers Law,
shall be conferred the benefits of Public Officers Law § 18.
The Town of Stockport agrees to be liable for the costs of any
employee as provided in § 18 of the Public Officers Law.
By enacting this chapter, the Town of Stockport does not intend
to create or confer upon any Town employee any benefits or rights
greater than those under § 18 of the Public Officers Law.
