The Borough Council of the Borough of Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, hereby recognizes the authority of the Citizens Hose Company and Independent Hose Company to seek recovery of reasonable costs of fire-fighting materials, equipment, personnel hours, as well as for hazardous abatement materials utilized in responding to any hazardous material incidents, fire, safety or rescue operation, including vehicle accidents, to the extent permitted by the provisions of the aforementioned Act,[1] pertinent case law or contract pertaining thereto.
