A.
Any violation of the Town of Tuxedo Regulations for Land
Subdivisions is hereby declared to be an offense punishable by a fine not
to exceed $250 or imprisonment for a period not to exceed six months, or both.
B.
For the purpose of conferring jurisdiction upon courts
and judicial officers generally, violations of the Town of Tuxedo Regulations
for Land Subdivisions shall be deemed misdemeanors, but for such purpose only,
and for such purpose all provisions of law relating to misdemeanors shall
apply to such violation.
C.
Each week's continued violation hereunder shall
constitute a separate additional violation of such Regulations for Land Subdivisions.
Nothing contained herein shall preclude the town or its proper local
authority from instituting appropriate legal action or proceeding to prevent
the unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, conversion,
maintenance or use of any building or structure in the Town of Tuxedo or the
unlawful division of land or to prevent the unlawful occupancy of a building,
structure or land or prevent any illegal act, conduct, business or use in
and about such premises, or to invoke any of the remedies contained in any
covenant or instrument given as a condition for the approval of any subdivision
plat.
