All proposed utilizations of outdoor chemical toilets, commonly referred
to as "jiffy johns," for temporary use in connection with construction activities,
athletic events and outdoor social activities shall require the securing of
a permit from the Jackson Township Zoning Officer at the Township Municipal
Building, 439 Roth's Church Road; Spring Grove, Pennsylvania.
All applications shall clearly indicate the approximate location of
the installation and the estimated length of use.
The permit for the installation of such outdoor chemical toilets shall

The applicant shall pay a fee as established from time to time by resolution
of the Board of Supervisors. The fee is payable at the time of the filing
of the application, and a similar fee will be due for each renewal of the
permit that the Township may authorize if renewal is justified.

thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than 1,000 plus costs of prosecution,
and in default of payment of said fine and costs, shall be sentenced to a
term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day a violation continues
shall be deemed a separate offense.
