A Civil Service Commission is hereby created in the Borough to consist
of three Commissioners, who shall have all of the rights, powers and authorities
given to or imposed upon such a Commission by the Act of General Assembly
of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania approved the fifth day of June 1941.[1]

Editor's Note: The Act referred to, which provided for police civil
service, was included in 53 P.S. § 53251 et seq. Its provisions
were repealed as to Boroughs by Act 1947, July 10, P.L. 1621, § 95.
Pertinent provisions are now included in 53 P.S. § 46171 et seq,
which provides for civil service for police and firemen.

as members of the said Commission, to serve for the terms designated:
