[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee
of the Township of Oldmans 2-1-1978 by Ord. No. 78-2 (Secs. 22.01
through 22.04 of the 1978 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
There shall be in and for the Township of Oldmans
a Board of Health constituted in accordance with N.J.S.A. 26:3-9,
as amended.
The Board of Health shall be composed of the
members of the Township Committee, the Township Assessor and one physician
to be appointed by the Township Committee for a term of three years
from the time of his appointment and until his successor is appointed.
The Board of Health may adopt rules, regulations
and ordinances in order to accomplish the statutory functions, provided
that said rules, regulations and ordinances are not inconsistent with
state laws and regulations.
The Board of Health shall exercise those duties,
functions and powers which are prescribed by statute or ordinance
or by state or local regulations.
