Until the council shall otherwise ordain, the annual salary of the mayor shall be ten thousand dollars; provided, however, that no ordinance changing the salary of the mayor shall become effective during the then current term of the mayor.
Except as otherwise provided in this Charter, the council shall fix the salaries of all officers and employees of the city.
Except as otherwise provided in this Chapter, or as may later be provided by ordinance, the members of all boards and commissions shall serve without compensation.
