In order to facilitate the movement of traffic and to combat the hazards of snow and/or ice of the snow emergency routes designated in § 252-45, the Township Manager or Chief of Police may, in their discretion, declare a snow emergency. Information on the existence of a snow emergency may be given by the Manager or Chief of Police through radio, newspaper or other available media and information on the termination or modification of the snow emergency may be given by use of this same media.

A.
It shall be unlawful to park, or leave unattended a motor vehicle, or to allow a motor vehicle to remain parked or unattended, on the main paved portion of any cul-de-sac street in the Township of Bethlehem when there has been a snowfall of four inches or greater, until such time as the cul-de-sac has been cleared of snow.
B.
After a snow emergency is declared, it shall be unlawful, at any time during the continuance of the emergency, for any person:
The Township of Bethlehem shall have the authority to remove and impound or to order the removal and impounding, of any motor vehicle which is parked or left unattended in violation of § 252-46, or which is incapable of moving under its own power on a snow emergency route during a snow emergency. This authority shall be exercised pursuant to the provisions of Article V of this chapter.

It shall be the duty of each officer of the Bethlehem Township Police Department to place on, or attach to, any vehicle parked, left unattended or operated in violation of § 252-46 a notice that the vehicle was found in violation of § 252-46 and instructing the violator that if he or she will report to the Bethlehem Township Police Department and pay, for the use of Bethlehem Township, the sum of $10 within 72 hours, or the sum of $20 after 72 hours and before the expiration of 240 hours, such act will save the said violator from prosecution and payment of the fine prescribed in § 252-48.
