Those intersections listed below (in addition to highways intersecting with the through highways established by § 207-17) are established as yield right-of-way intersections, and official yield signs shall be erected (or are ratified if previously erected) in such a position as to face traffic approaching the second-named street upon the first-named street at each yield intersection, in the direction or directions indicated for that intersection. Every driver of a vehicle approaching the intersection upon the first-named street, in the direction indicated in each case, shall slow down or stop the vehicle as required by Section 3323(c) of the Vehicle Code, and then yield the right-of-way as required by that subsection of the Vehicle Code.

B.
Any person who violates any provision of this section
shall be prosecuted under Section 4902(a) of the Vehicle Code and,
upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $150 and costs
and an additional penalty of $75 for each 500 pounds, or part thereof,
in excess of 3,000 pounds over the maximum allowable weight, as prescribed
by Section 4902(e-1) of the Vehicle Code.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any

shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $35 and costs.
A.
On those bridges listed below vehicle weight and/or
size restrictions are established by authority granted by Section
4902(a) of the Vehicle Code, and it shall be unlawful for any person
to operate any vehicle or combination in violation of the size, type
or load restrictions prescribed below for that bridge.

B.
Any person who violates any provision of this section
shall be prosecuted under Section 4902(a) of Vehicle Code and, upon
conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $150 and costs as
prescribed by Section 4902(e-1) of the Vehicle Code.
A.
Snow emergency routes are established on those streets
and portions of streets listed below. In order to facilitate the movement
of traffic and to combat the hazards of snow and ice on those snow
emergency routes, the Emergency Management Director, or in his absence
the Borough Manager/Administrator, at his discretion, may declare
a snow and ice emergency. Information on the existence of the emergency
shall be given through radio, newspaper, or other available media,
and notification of the termination of the emergency may be given
by use of the same media.
B.
One hour after any snow and ice emergency is declared,
it shall be unlawful, at any time during the continuance of the emergency,
for any person to park a motor vehicle, or to allow the vehicle to
remain parked, on any snow and ice emergency route; or for any person
to drive a motor vehicle, not equipped with snow tire or chains, on
a snow and ice emergency route. If the effective time referred to
shall occur after 11:00 p.m., the parking restrictions shall not become
effective until 7:00 a.m. the following day.
C.
If, at any time during a period of snow and ice emergency,
a person shall park a motor vehicle, or allow a motor vehicle to remain
parked, anywhere upon a snow emergency route, that person shall be
guilty of a violation of this section, and the vehicle illegally parked
shall be subject to being towed at the owner's expense and, upon conviction,
said owner shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $75.

D.
If, at any time during a period of snow and ice emergency,
a person drives a motor vehicle not equipped with radial tires, snow
tires or chains upon a snow and ice emergency route, that person shall
be guilty of a violation of this section and, upon conviction, shall
be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $30 nor more than $50.

A.
The Mayor is authorized to designate as play highways,
whenever he deems that action advisable, and for whatever period of
time directed by him, any portion of any street in the Borough where
sledding and coasting shall be permitted, that street shall be set
apart for the purpose under the direction of the Mayor.
B.
No person shall operate any motor vehicle upon any
play highway at any time when that street shall be so designated,
except in case of emergency with special permission of the police
officer in charge, who shall first clear the play highway of all persons
using it for the purpose for which it was set aside. Any person who
violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be
sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
