A. 
The compensation for members of Borough Council shall be $50 per month, subject to reduction as set forth hereafter.
B. 
If Council meets only once during the month and the Councilperson misses that meeting, there shall be full reduction of $50 in compensation.
C. 
If there is at least one special meeting during a month and the Councilperson misses the regular meeting but attends a special meeting, there will be a reduction of $35 for that month.
D. 
Council may, by a majority vote, exonerate the Councilperson from such reduction in compensation if the absence was caused by personal illness or a death in the Councilperson's family.
