Pursuant to the authorization set forth in Section 4902 of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code,[1] as implemented by an investigation conducted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Borough Council does hereby establish a ten-ton weight limit on Water Street in the Borough of Loganton from S.R. 0477 to S.R. 0880.

No person, firm, or corporation shall operate any vehicle in excess of such weight upon said highway except school buses and emergency vehicles.
On application, the Borough Secretary may issue permits for movement of vehicles of weights in excess of the aforesaid limit under such terms and conditions as may from time to time be applicable under the provisions of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code.
Any person that shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction therefore before a Magisterial District Judge, be sentenced in accordance with the provisions of Section 4902(g), or any amendment thereto, of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code, the provisions of which are incorporated herein by reference.[1]
