A. 
In accordance with the authority provided by the Upper Merion Township Fire Prevention Code,[1] the Fire Marshal shall designate fire lanes which shall be clearly marked by signs stating "No parking by order of Fire Marshal."

B. 
It shall be unlawful to park or allow a vehicle to remain parked in any fire lane. Such violation shall be considered a violation of an order of the Fire Marshal and shall be punishable in accordance with the provisions of the Upper Merion Township Fire Prevention Code, i.e., by a fine as set forth in Article III, General Penalty Provisions, of Chapter 1, General Provisions.
C. 
If a vehicle shall remain parked in a fire lane for a period in excess of eight hours, any police officer or Code Enforcement Officer shall have the authority to order the removal of the vehicle in accordance with the procedures in Article V of this chapter dealing with the removal and impoundment of vehicles.
A. 
It shall be unlawful to park or to allow a vehicle to remain parked within a fire lane if the vehicle is in such proximity to a fire hydrant, standpipe connector, sprinkler system or any other Fire Department connection to hinder Fire Department operations during an emergency.
B. 
A violation of Subsection A shall be considered a violation of an order of the Fire Marshal and shall be punishable in accordance with the provisions of the Upper Merion Township Fire Prevention Code,[1] i.e., by a fine as set forth in Article III, General Penalty Provisions, of Chapter 1, General Provisions.

C. 
Any police officer or Code Enforcement Officer shall have the authority to order the removal of any vehicle parked in violation of Subsection A in accordance with the procedures in Article V of this chapter dealing with the removal and impoundment of vehicles.

It shall be unlawful to park or to allow a vehicle to remain parked within a fire lane if the vehicle is parked in such a manner as to block the free movement or opening of any door to a school; multifamily dwelling; business, industrial or other commercial establishment; or other place of public gathering, including auditoriums, theaters and places of worship, as such vehicle presents a clear and present danger to public safety.
B. 
A violation of Subsection A shall be considered a violation of an order of the Fire Marshal and shall be punishable in accordance with the provisions of the Upper Merion Township Fire Prevention Code,[1] i.e., by a fine of not more than $300.

C. 
Any police officer or Code Enforcement Officer shall have the authority to order the removal of any vehicle parked in violation of Subsection A in accordance with the procedures in Article V of this chapter dealing with the removal and impoundment of vehicles.
A. 
All owners of property open to the general public shall post signs indicating fire lanes designated by the Fire Marshal within 30 days of receiving written notice from the Fire Marshal of the designation of the fire lanes and posting requirements.
B. 
A violation of Subsection A shall be considered a violation of an order of the Fire Marshal and shall be punishable in accordance with the provisions of the Upper Merion Township Fire Prevention Code,[1] i.e., by a fine of not more than $300.
