[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Saddle Rock 3-7-1984 by L.L. No. 2-1984. Amendments noted where applicable.]
No local law shall be adopted by the Board of Trustees except after a public hearing has been held thereon, on public notice of at least three days. Such public notice shall be given by publication in the official newspaper of the Village or, where directed by resolution of the Board of Trustees, by publication in a daily newspaper having general circulation in the Village.
Section 7-706, Subdivision 2, of the Village Law is hereby superseded and repealed in its application to the Village of Saddle Rock, and the provisions of § 12-3 of this chapter shall apply in its place and stead.

A. 
Section 7-706, Subdivision 5, of the Village Law and the third sentence of § 7-706, Subdivision 1, of the Village Law are hereby repealed in their application to the Village of Saddle Rock.
B. 
At least three days' notice of the time and place of any public hearing on the adoption of a zoning law, or an amendment to the zoning laws, of the Village of Saddle Rock shall be given, by publication in the official newspaper of the Village or a paper of general circulation as designated by the Board of Trustees.
C. 
Every zoning law of the Village of Saddle Rock, and every amendment thereto, including any map incorporated therein, shall be entered in the minutes of the Village Board of Trustees. There shall be no requirement that any such law, or an abstract thereof, be published in any newspaper as a precondition to said law becoming effective.
D. 
Section 7-706, Subdivision 2, of the Village Law is superseded in its application to the Village of Saddle Rock, to the extent that any notice required by that section shall be given at least five days prior to the date of a public hearing.
