Pursuant to the authority granted to the Board of Trustees pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law § 10, Subdivision 4(a), the Board of Trustees is hereby authorized to adopt resolutions or promulgate rules and regulations for carrying into effect or fully administering the provisions of any local law and to authorize the issuance of an appearance ticket by any public servant who, by virtue of office, title or position, is authorized or required to enforce any statute, local law, ordinance, rules or regulation relating to parking, the licensing of occupations or businesses, fire prevention and safety, health and sanitation and building, zoning and planning.

Notwithstanding the provisions of § 40-1 and in addition to any public servant authorized to issue appearance tickets pursuant to said § 40-1, the Mayor and any member of the Board of Trustees are hereby authorized to issue appearance tickets in enforcement of any statute, local law, ordinance, rule or regulation relating to parking, the licensing of occupations or businesses, fire prevention and safety, health and sanitation and building, zoning and planning.
Notwithstanding any other provision in this chapter to the contrary, any peace officer may issue an appearance ticket relating to enforcement of any statute, local law, ordinance, rule or regulation of the Village of Saddle Rock or the State of New York affecting the public health, safety and welfare.
