§ 3-105.1 Duties incorporated with City Engineer. [Amended 7-13-1999 by Ord. No. 27-1999]The duties of the Traffic Engineer are incorporated into the duties of the office of the City Engineer.
§ 3-105.2 Duties. The Traffic Engineer shall:A. Determine the installation and proper timing and maintenance of traffic control devices in accordance with the Vehicle Code and the Pennsylvania Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD);[1][1]Editor's Note: Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1-303).B. Conduct engineering analyses of traffic accidents and devise remedial measures;C. Conduct engineering investigations of traffic conditions;D. Determine the operation of traffic on the streets and highways of the City;E. Cooperate with other City officials in the development of ways and means to improve traffic conditions; andF. Carry out such additional powers and duties as are imposed upon him by ordinances of the City.
