It shall be unlawful for any child under the age of 18 years to be upon the streets or other public places or in any billiard or pool hall or any place of amusement or recreation after the hour of 10:00 p.m., prevailing time, on any day of the week, including Sunday, until dawn of the following morning, unless accompanied by a parent, guardian or other adult person having the custody or control of said child.
It shall be unlawful for the parent, guardian or other adult person having the custody or control of any child under the age of 18 years to permit such child to be upon or in any of the places designated in § 55-1 of this chapter after the hour of 10:00 p.m., prevailing time, on any day of the week, including Sunday, until dawn of the following morning, unless accompanied by such parent, guardian or other person having the custody or control of such child.
A. 
Any child under the age of 18 years found to be in violation of this chapter shall be charged as a juvenile delinquent and shall be subject to punishment as such.
B. 
Any adult person violating the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be liable to payment of a fine of not more than $500 or to imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both.[1]
