A.
Fees upon filing. Fees for the filing of a subdivision plat of land
with the Board of Trustees for its approval, lying within the Village
or outside thereof within 300 feet of the Village border, shall be
set from time to time by the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees
may also require at its discretion the filing of a letter of credit
or bond, the choice of which shall be determined by the Board of Trustees
in connection with approval of a plat for land outside the Village.

B.
Fees upon approval. A fee for approval of a subdivision plat of land
within the Village shall be in the amount of 15% of the amount certified
by the Village Engineer as the cost of the public improvements installed
or to be installed at the proposed subdivision. In the event that
an estimate made of such cost prior to construction shall be less
than actual expenditures, the balance of the fee resulting from such
difference shall be paid to the Village upon demand. A fee for approval
of a subdivision of land outside the Village shall be in an amount
as shall be set from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees.
