A. 
Parking meter zones are hereby established on highways as follows:
(1) 
Both sides of Old Northern Boulevard between its intersection with Main Street and its intersection with East Broadway.
(2) 
East side of Tower Place between its intersection with Main Street and its intersection with Old Northern Boulevard.
(3) 
West side of Main Street between its intersection with Old Northern Boulevard and a location just south of its intersection with Old Northern Boulevard.
(4) 
East side of Main Street between a location south of its intersection with Tower Place and a location a short distance southerly therefrom.
(5) 
East side of Main Street between a location south of its intersection with East Broadway and a location a short distance southerly therefrom.
B. 
Parking meter zones are hereby established in public parking fields, as follows:
(1) 
Parking Field No. 1A located at the south side of Old Northern Boulevard between Tower Place and East Broadway.
(2) 
Parking Field No. 1B located at the northwest corner formed by the bend in Old Northern Boulevard at the East Broadway intersection.
(3) 
Parking Field No. 2 located at the east side of Lumber Road just north of Old Northern Boulevard.
(4) 
Parking Field No. 3 located at the west side of Edwards Street north of Warner Avenue.

The parking of vehicles on public highways shall be in accordance with the posted signs placed on the public highways indicating the parking time limits as adopted by resolution of the Board of Trustees, which may be amended by the Board of Trustees.

The parking of vehicles in public parking fields shall be in accordance with the posted signs placed at public parking fields indicating the parking limits as adopted by resolution of the Board of Trustees, which may be amended by the Board of Trustees.

Unless otherwise specified, parking meters shall be in operation during hours coincidental with those hours specified for parking time limits in §§ 457-17 and 457-18 of this chapter, in the respective parking meter zones, unless parking, standing or stopping is otherwise prohibited during those hours as adopted by resolution of the Board of Trustees, which may be amended by the Board of Trustees.

A fee shall be determined by resolution of the Board of Trustees for parking in parking meter zones, as follows:
A. 
Parking Field No. 1A located on Old Northern Boulevard.
B. 
Parking Field No. 1B located on Old Northern Boulevard.
C. 
On the east side of Tower Place between Main Street and Old Northern Boulevard.
D. 
On both sides of Main Street.
E. 
Parking Field No. 3 located on Edwards Street.
F. 
Parking Field No. 2 located on Lumber Road.
G. 
Both sides of Old Northern Boulevard between its intersection with Main Street and East Broadway.
The Mayor shall be responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, policing and supervision of parking meters in this Village.
A. 
Installation.
(1) 
Pavement markings shall be applied, where practicable, outlining parking spaces in the parking meter zones established in this article.
(2) 
Parking meters shall be installed immediately adjacent to the parking spaces.
(3) 
No parking spaces shall be applied at, nor meters installed adjacent to, locations where parking, standing or stopping is prohibited pursuant to § 1202 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law or this chapter or other law or regulation of this Village where parking spaces are in conflict with such prohibitions.
B. 
Operation.
(1) 
Each parking meter shall operate so to indicate that the appropriate fee has been deposited in such meter.
(2) 
Each parking meter shall display a signal indicating the expiration of the time period associated with the deposit of fees.
The Clerk/Treasurer shall keep a record of the collection of fees made from all parking meters in the Village and shall credit such fees to the general fund.
A. 
Deposit of fee required.
(1) 
No person shall park a vehicle in a parking space of any parking meter zone adjacent to a parking meter during the hours of parking meter operation unless the appropriate fee is immediately deposited in such meter.
(2) 
No person shall park a vehicle in a parking space of any parking meter zone adjacent to a parking meter during the hours of parking meter operation while such meter is displaying a signal indicating the expiration of the time period associated with the deposit of fees.
B. 
Legal currency required. No person shall deposit or attempt to deposit in any parking meter any slug, button, or any other device or substance as substitutes for coins of United States currency.
C. 
Time limits for meters. No person shall cause, allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in the name of or operated by such person to be parked overtime or beyond the period of legal parking time established for any parking meter zone.
