A.
Any violation of §§ 82-3 through 82-5, inclusive, are punishable by a fine of $20 per violation; provided, however, that any person convicted of a subsequent violation of the same section within one year shall, in the discretion of the court, be subject to the enhanced fine authorized by N.J.S.A. 40:49-5.
B.
Any person convicted of a violation of a provision of Part 1 of this chapter or any supplement thereto shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $50 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 50 days, or both, unless another penalty is expressly provided by New Jersey statute or a specific section of this Code.
