This article applies to on-site wastewater treatment systems
serving residential properties and receiving sewage without the admixture
of industrial wastes or other wastes, as defined in Environmental
Conservation Law § 17-0701, in quantities of less than 1,000
gallons per day.
On-site wastewater treatment systems shall conform to the standards
and requirements set forth from time to time in Part 75 and Appendix
75-A of the New York State Sanitary Code, as adopted or modified by
the Orange County Department of Health, and in the New York State
Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code.
