The following departments, Environmental Justice Department, Public Safety/Police Department, Finance Department and Public Engagement Department, Economic Development Department, Administration Department, City Clerk Department, Human. Resources Department, are heretofore created and established as permanent departments of the Mayor and Council of Seat Pleasant, and they shall continue to function as heretofore ordained, as per the article creating them in such case made and provided. The city shall, by majority vote of the Council then sitting, establish and disestablish departments from time to time.
