No person shall at any time set or use a trap of any kind designed or intended to take, capture or kill any animal or fowl within the limits of the Borough of Westwood except as shall be specifically permitted hereafter and as permitted under N.J.S.A. 23:3-1, and the various amendments and supplements thereto.
No person shall set or use any traps of any type designed to take animals or fowl in or upon any property within the Borough of Westwood, public or private, without having first obtained the permission of the owner or occupant of said premises.
Whenever a trap which has been set or used in violation of § 99-18 or 99-19 of this article shall be found within the confines of the Borough of Westwood, the same may be confiscated by any police officer of the Borough of Westwood or any New Jersey Fish and Game Warden.
This article shall be enforced by any police officer of the Borough of Westwood or any New Jersey Fish and Game Warden.

Violations of this article shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III, General Penalty, of the Code of the Borough of Westwood.
