A. 
Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be served by the Construction Official with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, no later than the period of time stated in such notice, permanently cease all violations.
B. 
If a violation is found to exist hereunder, the Borough shall be entitled to recoup any and all costs incurred by the Borough for inspections and for remediating damage to the sewer system directly attributable to the violation.
C. 
Any person who continues any violation beyond the time limit provided for in said notice described in Subsection A of this section shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to one or more of the following: a fine not exceeding $1,000; imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days; or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days. Each day that such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
