Any bond required of an officer or employee shall be filed after
his election or appointment and before he enters upon the discharge
of his duties.
Such bond shall run to the City in its corporate name, with
sufficient surety or sureties to be approved by the Council, and shall
be conditioned for the true and faithful performance of the duties
of the such officer or employee.
