There shall be a Board of Health, known as the "Board of Health
of the Town of Newton," consisting of five members appointed by the
Council. Of the original appointees, one member shall be appointed
for a term of one year, one for a term of two years, one for a term
of three years, one for a term of four years, and one for a term of
five years. Thereafter, all appointments shall be for a five-year
term. The members shall serve until their respective successors are
appointed and qualify.
The Board of Health shall advise the Manager concerning matters
of public health within the Town.
