Beginning January 3, 2022, the salary of the Mayor of the Borough of Phoenixville is hereby fixed in the amount of $4,300 per annum, payable monthly.

Beginning January 3, 2022, the President of the Borough Council of Phoenixville shall receive an additional compensation of $50 per month of service relative to his or her duties or for serving as President.

Beginning January 3, 2022, newly seated Councilpersons of the Borough Council of Phoenixville shall receive compensation of $200 per month of service relative to his or her duties as members of Council.

1. 
Compensation. The compensation for the Borough Tax Collector for the collection of Borough taxes shall be the sum of $10,000 per annum plus the expenses of supplies necessary to the ordinary operation of the Tax Collector's office in the collection of Borough taxes, the cost of the bond required by law to be posted by the Borough Tax Collector and authorized fees for service.
2. 
Additional Tax Collector Authority. In addition to his or her duties as the elected Tax Collector, the Tax Collector and his or her successors are hereby appointed and authorized to prepare and issue, as Borough officers, real estate tax certifications, duplicate real estate tax bills and such other real estate tax information as the Tax Collector shall determine would be required to be provided by the Borough pursuant to statute (e.g., currently the Right to Know Act).
3. 
Fees for Services. The Tax Collector may charge the following fees for services, which fees shall be paid to and retained by the Tax Collector as additional compensation for providing the service:
A. 
In an amount to be established, from time to time, by resolution of Borough Council, for issuing a real estate tax certification per up to three years certified.
B. 
In an amount to be established, from time to time, by resolution of Borough Council, for issuing a duplicate real estate tax bill for each tax year.
C. 
In an amount to be established, from time to time, by resolution of Borough Council, for preparing and issuing other written real estate tax information provided that the total fee for each such informational document shall not exceed a total of $25.
