No person shall, except in necessary defense of person or property,
or as herein excepted, fire or discharge any gun or other firearm,
including any starter pistol, within the Borough of Phoenixville.

No person shall have in his/her possession any air rifle, air
pistol (commonly known as "B-B gun"), slingshot, knife, razor or cutting
instrument or bow and arrows or similar instruments with the intent
and/or capability of inflicting serious bodily injury.

This Part shall require no further limitations nor grant any
greater privileges beyond those which are already regulated by the
relevant laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, but not limited
to:
A. The discharge
of a firearm by a law enforcement officer or military personnel acting
within the line of duty, including but not limited to active operations,
training exercises and ceremonies.
B. The discharge
of a firearm for purposes of hunting or other activities regulated
by and conducted in accordance with the Game and Wildlife Code of
Pennsylvania.
C. The discharge
of a firearm in defense of human life or of the residence or place
of business of the person discharging the firearm.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision
of this Part shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a
fine of not more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of said fine
and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. Each day
that a violation of this Part continues shall constitute a separate
offense.
