It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to
leave inside any unoccupied building or dwelling in a place accessible
to children any unattended icebox, refrigerator or any other container
of any kind, unless:
A. Said icebox, refrigerator or container is actually in
use;
B. Said icebox, refrigerator or container may be released for opening
within;
C. Said icebox, refrigerator or container lock or hinges on doors shall
have been removed; or
D. Said icebox, refrigerator or container is securely padlocked from
without, and the key to said padlock is inaccessible to children.
Any person, firm or corporation who violates any provision of
this chapter shall be fined not more than $250.
