1. The regulations set forth in this chapter may, from time to time,
be amended by the Board of Supervisors by ordinance. The following
requirements shall be observed prior to making any amendments to this
chapter.
2. Procedures.
A. Notice shall be published once each week for two-consecutive weeks
in a newspaper of general circulation in the Township. Such notice
shall state the time and place of hearing and the particular nature
of the matter to be considered at the hearing. The first publication
shall not be more than 30 days and the second publication shall not
be less than seven days from the date of the hearing. A copy of the
amendment shall be supplied to a newspaper of general circulation
in the Township at the time the public notice is published.
B. The notice shall state that full opportunity shall be given to any
citizen and all parties in interest to be heard at such hearing. The
notice shall state where in the Township copies of the proposed amendment
may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater
than the cost thereof.
C. An attested copy of the proposed amendment shall be filed in the
Bucks County Law Library.
D. All proposed amendments not originating with the Township Planning
Commission before adoption shall be referred to the Township Planning
Commission. All proposed amendments shall be forwarded to the Bucks
County Planning Commission at least 30 days prior to the public hearing
for their written recommendations.

E. In the event substantial amendments are made in the proposed ordinance
or amendment, before voting upon enactment, the Township Board of
Supervisors shall at least 10 days prior to enactment re-advertise,
in one newspaper of general circulation in the Township, a brief summary
setting forth all the provisions in reasonable detail together with
a summary of the amendments.
F. Within 30 days after adoption, the Township shall forward a certified
copy of any amendment to the Bucks County Planning Commission.
