As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
OPEN BURNING
Fire outdoors where products of combustion are emitted directly into the open air.
Any open burning shall be prohibited within the Township of Liberty except for:
A. 
Outdoor cooking.
B. 
Burning permitted by the United States Environmental Protection Agency or the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection or any other governmental agency having the authority to do so.
C. 
Other burning that has been given the express permission of the Township Committee.
This chapter shall be enforced by the Warren County Board of Health, New Jersey Forest Fire Service and other officials as the Township Committee may designate by resolution.
