Pursuant to Section 11 of the Uniform Fire Safety Act (P.L.
1983, c. 383) [N.J.S.A. 52:27D-202], the New Jersey Uniform Fire Code
shall be locally enforced in the municipality of the Borough of Westville.

The local enforcing agency shall be the Bureau of Fire Prevention
of the Fire District of the Borough of Westville.

The Bureau of Fire Prevention of the Fire District of the Borough
of Westville shall enforce the Uniform Fire Safety Act (N.J.S.A. 52:27D-192
et seq.) and the Codes and Regulations adopted under it in all buildings,
structures and premises within the established boundaries of the Borough
of Westville, other than owner-occupied one- and two-family dwellings,
and shall faithfully comply with the requirements of the Uniform Fire
Safety Act and the Uniform Fire Code.

The Bureau of Fire Prevention of the Fire District of the Borough
of Westville shall carry out the periodic inspections of life-hazard
uses required by the Uniform Fire Code on behalf of the Commissioner
of Community Affairs.

The Fire District of the Borough of Westville shall employ a
Fire Official whose responsibilities shall be direct supervision and
control of the local enforcement responsibilities of the Bureau of
Fire Prevention. The Fire Official shall report to the Fire District
of the Borough of Westville. Such funds as may be necessary to support
the operations of the Agency shall be raised by the Fire District
in the manner provided by law.

Pursuant to Sections 15 and 17 of the Uniform Fire Safety Act
(N.J.S.A. 52:27D-206 and 27D-208), any person aggrieved by any order
of the Bureau of Fire Prevention of the Fire District of the Borough
of Westville shall have the right to appeal to the Construction Board
of Appeals of the County of Gloucester.

In addition to the inspection and fees required pursuant to
the Act and the regulations of the Department of Community Affairs,
the following additional inspections and fees shall be required:
A. Inspection and fee schedule for all buildings as defined in the Uniform
Construction Code of New Jersey, N.J.S.A. 52:27D-119 et seq., as amended,
and not classified as life-hazard buildings in accordance with N.J.A.C.

C. Non-life-hazard government and not-for-profit buildings.
(1) Non-life-hazard government and not-for-profit buildings shall not
be exempt from obtaining a permit but shall be exempt from paying
a fee for the inspection and firesafety permit.
