Parking, stopping, or standing is prohibited in fire lane zones
where signs are posted indicating parking is prohibited. Yellow or
red painted lines may be used in addition to the signs to indicate
the precise area where parking is prohibited.

Wherever a space shall be marked off on any street for the parking
of an individual vehicle, every vehicle there parked shall be parked
within the lines bounding such space.

On all highways or portions thereof where angle parking is now
or shall hereafter be authorized, all vehicles parked thereon shall
be parked with the front thereof nearest the curb.

On-street parking is permitted unless signs prohibit parking.

Vehicles in violation may be towed at the discretion of a police
officer if the vehicle causes a traffic hazard or is interfering with
the removal of snow and ice.

The registered owner of any vehicle removed shall be notified of
the removal and of the place to which the vehicle has been removed,
where he or she may claim the vehicle upon payment of any and all
towing and storage charges. Neither the Township nor any of its officers
or employees shall be held responsible for any damage to any vehicle
occurring as a result of towing and/or storage of a vehicle parked
in violation of this section.

Parking for the purpose of discharging and taking on guests and for
loading and unloading by delivery trucks for the period of time necessary
to do so may be allowed.
5.
Permission for on-street parking for areas where parking is otherwise
prohibited may be requested from the Township.

Parking is hereby prohibited at any and all times on all bridges
located in this Township.

Where a sign restricting the time for parking is posted, no
person shall park a vehicle or allow the same to remain parked for
longer than the time indicated on the sign.

No person shall interfere with the snow plowing of any portion of
any Township street by obstructing the travel or operation of a snow
plowing vehicle by placing any object, vehicle, or person in a manner
that prevents movement of the vehicle past any point on any Township
street or prevents the depositing of snow in any location.

No person including, but not limited to, any resident or contractor
performing private snow plowing operations or clearing snow with a
shovel, plow, or snow blower, shall cause snow to be deposited from
any property or roadway within the Township onto any Township street.

Snow shall not be plowed and piled from a driveway against the opposite
curb. Snow shall be plowed back onto the property from which it was
plowed or shoveled and feathered along the curb line of the same property
so that piles do not extend into the street.

No person shall damage any Township property including, but not limited
to, traffic signs, drains, or culverts, while removing snow, ice,
slush, or a combination thereof. Any damage to Township property shall
be repaired or replaced in accordance with the requirements of the
Township at the expense of the property owner and/or snow removal
agency.

The owner of private property is hereby required to remove or cause
to be removed all snow, ice, slush, or any combination thereof or
any accumulation and/or impediment which would limit access to, from,
and/or around all of the fire hydrants or any fire hydrant or connection
for any fire suppression system which are located on said property,
so as to provide immediate access by fire rescue personnel in cases
of emergency. In cases involving a severe storm, fire hydrants or
connection for any fire suppression system shall be cleared of all
snow, ice, and/or slush, within 24 hours following the storm.

Any person who violates any provision of this part may be cited
by the issuance of a Cranberry Township parking notice violation or
through the issuance of a traffic citation under the Pennsylvania
Vehicle Code, Title 75, Pa.C.S.A. Person(s) issued a Cranberry Township
parking violation notice shall pay a fine of $25. It shall be the
duty of a police officer issuing a Cranberry Township parking notice
violation to indicate the provision of this part violated, the license
number of the vehicle involved in the violation, the location where
such violation took place, the date and time of the violation, and
any facts that might be necessary in order to secure understanding
of the circumstances attending such violations. The police officer
issuing a Cranberry Township parking violation notice shall also attach
to or place upon the vehicle a notice (including a payment envelope)
stating the vehicle was in violation of this part. The notice shall
contain instructions to the owner or driver of the vehicle that a
fine of $25 must be paid to Cranberry Township within 10 days. Cranberry
Township parking violation notices not paid within the ten-day period
will result in the issuance of a traffic citation under the Pennsylvania
Vehicle Code, Title 75, Pa.C.S.
