Trucks over four tons gross weight are hereby excluded from the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule A, except for the pickup and delivery of materials on such streets. Schedule A is attached hereto and made a part of this chapter.[1]

A. 
Except for the pickup and delivery of materials from any properties abutting such streets or parts of streets, trucks registered for gross weight of 40,000 pounds or more are hereby excluded from the streets or parts of streets within the Township described in Schedule A.[1]

B. 
Nothing in this section shall be construed to exclude trucks used by public utility companies in connection with the construction, installation, operation or maintenance of public utility facilities located on said roads or on properties abutting said roads or trucks used to repair or maintain said roads. Furthermore, nothing in this section shall be construed to exclude fire or rescue vehicles from utilizing said roads.
C. 
Those streets or parts of streets from which said trucks shall be excluded shall be conspicuously marked by signs so placed and maintained as to clearly show exclusion by both day and night and shall designate the registered weight of the trucks which are excluded from such streets or parts of streets.
Unless another penalty is expressly provided for by state statute, any person or persons who shall violate any subsection of this section shall be liable, upon conviction thereof, to a fine of not more than $1,000 or to imprisonment for a term of not more than 90 days, or both, for each such offense.
