By authority of the resolution of the Town Board of the Town
of Eaton pursuant to the provisions of Article 16, § 271
of the Town Law of the State of New York, the Eaton Town Planning
Board is authorized and empowered:
A. To approve, conditionally approve or disapprove plats showing lots,
blocks or sites, with or without roads or highways.
B. To conditionally approve preliminary plats.
C. To approve the development of entirely or partially undeveloped plats
already filed in the office of the County Clerk.
This chapter shall be known as the "Subdivision Regulations
of the Town of Eaton."
This chapter, after public hearing and adoption by the Planning
Board and subsequent approval by the Eaton Town Board, will become
effective July 1, 1993.
This chapter shall be administered by the Planning Board and
the Code Enforcement Officer.
The Planning Board, on its motion and after public hearing,
may amend, supplement or change this chapter, subject to the approval
of the Town Board.
When, in the opinion of the Planning Board, undue individual
hardship may result from strict compliance with this chapter, it may
modify this chapter so that substantial justice may be done and the
public interest secured, provided that such modification will not
have the effect of nullifying the intent and purpose of this chapter.
