The following fees are authorized by the Uniform Fire Safety Code (P.L. 1983, c. 383; N.J.S.A. 52:27D-192 et seq.) and N.J.A.C. 5:70:2.9(c) pursuant to § 104-6 of this Code:
A. 
Life-hazard uses.
(1) 
Type 1 permit: $35.
(2) 
Type 2 permit: $138.
(3) 
Type 3 permit: $276.
(4) 
Type 4 permit: $414.
(5) 
Type 5 permit: (Reserved)
B. 
Industrial and commercial uses.
(1) 
Fees for industrial and commercial uses not classified as life-hazard uses by the Uniform Fire Code shall be as follows:

(2) 
The payment of the above fees shall be the responsibility of the occupant of the premises.
C. 
Multiple-family dwellings.
(1) 
Fees for multifamily dwellings shall be as follows:
(a) 
Three to five units: $15.
(b) 
Six to 25 units: $50.
(c) 
Twenty-five units and above: $200.
(2) 
The payment of the above fees shall be the responsibility of the owner of the premises.
The fee for a certificate of compliance concerning required alarms, pursuant to § 104-12 of this Code, shall be $35.
