Article VIII Encroachments

§ 485-46 Street and sidewalk encroachments.

No person shall erect any porch, steps, fence, sign or obstruction of any kind within the line of any street or sidewalk of the Village.

§ 485-47 Penalties for offenses. [1]

Any person violating this article shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding $250 or 15 days' imprisonment, or both, for each and every offense, and such violation shall constitute disorderly conduct and the person violating the same shall be a disorderly person.

§ 485-48 Effective date.

This article shall take effect August 20, 1932, or immediately as to any person or firm served with a copy of this article.
