The special fund known as the "Automated External Defibrillator
Fund" shall be maintained by the City of Pawtucket for the care and
maintenance of automated external defibrillators maintained by the
Division of Parks and Recreation.
The Automated External Defibrillator Fund shall be maintained
by funds currently available in the Lynch Arena Learn to Skate Ice
Show Fund, which shall be eliminated, and by public donations, public
and private grants and other revenue derived for this purpose.
The Director of Finance shall set up a trust and agency account
to be used specifically for the purpose described.
The Director of Finance shall have the authority and discretion
to allocate and disburse those funds that the Superintendent of the
Division of Parks and Recreation deems necessary to maintain the defibrillators.
The Superintendent of the Division of Parks and Recreation is
hereby authorized to exercise control over those funds that are ultimately
disbursed by the Director of Finance.
The Superintendent of the Division of Parks and Recreation shall
submit an annual report to the City Council outlining the planned
expenditures relative to the Automated External Defibrillator Enterprise
Fund.
