A Solicitor for the handling of the legal affairs of the Borough
shall be elected annually for a term, effective December 31, 1994,
and annually thereafter, at an hourly rate to be established by Council
from time to time, exclusive of legal costs, photostatic copies, charges
or expenses arising out of the performance of the duties of the Solicitor
and costs of litigation.
The duties of the Solicitor shall be to advise the Borough and
its various departments and shall include the preparation of all ordinances
and legal documents, together with fees and charges for litigation.
