Borough of Bellefonte, PA Chapter 159 Wards

[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of Bellefonte 1-4-1982 by Ord. No. 873 (Ch. 206 of the 1979 Codified Ordinances). Amendments noted where applicable.]

§ 159-1 Definitions.

As used in this chapter:

CENSUS

The federal census made decennially or such federal census as is required by act or statute of the Congress of the United States.

GOVERNING BODY

Council.

WARD or DISTRICT

A subdivision of the Borough for the election of the members of Council.

§ 159-2 Official ward boundaries. [1]

A. The ward lines and boundaries are hereby reordained and shall be identified and numbered as follows, in accordance with the diagram contained in Exhibit "A" of this chapter:[2]

(1) North Ward, No. 1.

(2) South Ward, No. 2.

(3) West Ward, No. 3.

B. The proper officers of Council shall do all acts necessary and proper to implement this chapter.
