It shall not be lawful for any person to construct, maintain or operate or cause to be constructed, maintained or operated within the Village any oil-distributing station or gasoline pump without first obtaining permission for same from the Board of Trustees.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not exceeding the sum of $250 or imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both, for each and every such violation.
