Taxation — See Ch. 284.
A. 
The Tax Collector of the Township of Spring Garden, York County, Pennsylvania, elected for the term of office commencing on the first Monday of January 2014, and the Tax Collector elected for any terms of office thereafter, unless changed by later amendment, shall be compensated for duties as Tax Collector in the sum of $5,500.
B. 
Said Tax Collector, as collector of Township taxes, shall also be compensated for such actual printing and postage expenses as he or she shall incur in performing duties of the Township prescribed by the Local Tax Collection Law.[1]

C. 
The amounts due the Tax Collector shall be paid quarterly (or at such other times as may be mutually agreed upon by the Board of Commissioners and the Tax Collector) upon regular warrant drawn, signed and approved as provided in the First Class Township Code, as amended.
The Tax Collector shall give a fidelity bond to the commonwealth in an amount that the Township's Board of Commissioners shall, from time to time, determine, except that the said amount shall be at least equal to 50% of the probable amount of the annual Township tax.
A. 
The Tax Collector is authorized to provide duplicate real estate bills, duplicate receipts and account history reports, upon request, and further is authorized to charge no more than his or her expenses in connection therewith and retain for reimbursement of such expenses fees of up to the following:
(1) 
Duplicate real estate bills: $2.
(2) 
Duplicate receipts: $1.
(3) 
Account history reports: $3.
B. 
The above fees may be changed by future resolution.
A. 
The Tax Collector is authorized to provide tax certifications, upon request by the public, and further is authorized to charge no more than his or her expenses in connection therewith and retain for reimbursement of such expenses a fee of up to $10 per certification.
