Every property owner shall cause the entire sidewalk, both width and length, adjoining, crossing or located on his property to be free of snow and ice at all times.
Every property owner shall be allowed 24 hours following the cessation of the snow or ice event to comply with § 237-1 hereof.

No person shall place snow or ice on the public streets.
Violation of any provision of this article shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article I, General Penalty, of this Code.

For purposes of this article, every twenty-four-hour period or part thereof during which there is a failure to comply with § 237-1 shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
